Stepping into spring with Dance Direct

Despite astronomical reckoning saying spring arrived last month – here at Alpha we haven’t felt like it had truly ‘sprung’ until the sunshine arrived this past week. Just in time to celebrate the jaunty season our Alpha belle Olivia completed a fabulous shoot with Dance Direct.

The online dancewear store are the largest in the UK and across Europe – catering to young students through to dancers of the Royal Ballet. When we were asked to provide a fresh-faced sweetheart to model some of the collection and new urban line, we knew Olivia would be the perfect darling.

Liz, our managing director here at Alpha, was thrilled to work with the company (with the thought of leotards and pointe shoes making her misty eyed): ‘I adored performing at school and it gave me such confidence. What Dance Direct have achieved with their business – making dancewear more readily accessible, and at an affordable price – to allow dancers to concentrate on tuition and performance, resonates with what we do at Alpha. We are always looking to provide the best service we possibly can to our clients, so they can focus on their core business and what matters most to them.’ Here in the office we also heard Liz was tempted to dig out the tights so watch this space!

Dance Direct stock lines from a range of brands including Bloch, Wear Moi, Sansha and Intermezzo, in ranges for both adults and children. If you would like to see more of their range then take a peek at their site here.

We often supply dancers for a range of briefs – from flash mobs to a single performer for a corporate event, not just photographic assignments. Call us for an informal chat, or drop us an email, to find out how we can help you.
